Zynga CEO Mark Pincus discussed online gambling at the Morgan Stanley Technology, Media and Telecom conference, and he believes the company will do very well when it comes to joining the online gambling industry, according to The Business Insider.
“I think it’s a good natural fit. I think, philosophically, the part people haven’t noticed yet, real money gaming is the perfect with virtual goods and social games,” Pincus said at the conference. “We’re interested, but you should expect to see us do a lot more than what you’ve seen in offshore casinos.”
Zynga already operates the largest online poker game in the world along with 30 million monthly players, and it is planning on releasing other popular casino games, the media outlet reports. So, with its good position, Pincus thinks it will be quite easy to integrate – and profit from – real money into the games.
Do you think that Zynga will benefit greatly from an online gambling perspective? Would you play your favorite online roulette, poker or blackjack by the company?
