Online gambling software provider Playtech recently announced that it has signed agreements to start up new ventures in Germany and South Africa, according to Gambling Kingz.
Playtech, which is based in London, is known for expanding to new geographical locations that are developing an online gambling industry. Its agreements with Germany and South Africa further prove the point, as the two countries are just now legalizing online sports bets, with online roulette, poker and slots to follow later.
The online software company has put forth two ventures that will establish online sports betting in the respective countries. This will help build relationships between gaming groups and the countries along with developing online gambling regulation.
It seems as though the number of countries legalizing online gambling continues to increase, even though the U.S. is still struggling to approve it.
Do you think that online gambling will do better in Germany or South Africa? Do you think the U.S. will legalize soon after or do they still have a long way to go?
